I am - मैं हूँ.
We are - हम हैं.

He is - वो है. (कोई लड़का)

This is - ये है. ( पास, संख्या में एक )
That is - वो है. ( दूर, संख्या में एक )
These are - ये हैं ( पास , संख्या में एक से अधिक.)
Those are - वो हैं ( दूर, संख्या में एक से अधिक.)

विचार सही है या गलत ये जानने के लिए हम वाक्य के अंत
में एक प्रश्न जोड़ देते है, ऐसे वाक्य Question Tag (?)

Use of the word ' There ' - there का प्रयोग।
Be - होना
Be (is/am/are) - Present वर्तमान (है/हूँ/हो)।
Be (was / were) - Past भूत (था/ थी / थे)।
will/shall + be - Future भविष्य। (होगा / होगी)।
'there ' का प्रयोग संख्या और मात्रा को बताने के
लिए किया जाता है। यदि वस्तु संख्या में एक हो
तो 'there' के साथ वर्तमान में 'is' लगता है और भूत
काल में 'was' लगता है, लेकिन यदि संख्या एक से
अधिक हो, तब 'there' के साथ वर्तमान में 'are' लगता है
और भूत काल में 'were' लगता है। जब हम किसी मात्रा
को बताते हैं , तब हम हमेशा 'there' के साथ वर्तमान में
'is' और भूत काल में 'was' ही लगाते हैं क्योंकि मात्रा की
गणना नहीं की जा सकती। भविष्य काल में संख्या और
मात्रा दोनों को बताने के लिए 'there' के साथ will + be
ही लगाया जाता है।

1. टेबल पर एक पुस्तक है।
There is a book on the table.
2. दीवार पर एक घड़ी थी।
There was a watch on the wall.
3. कल इस दीवार पर एक नई तस्वीर होगी।
There will be a new picture on this

अब तक हमने सीखा की जब हमें हिन्दी वाक्यों की
शुरुआत में 'क्या ' ये हिंदी शब्द मिलता है तो हम सहायक
क्रिया को वाक्य की शुरुआत में रखकर वाक्य को अंग्रेजी
में बदलते है।
What का प्रयोग हमें उस समय करना होता है जब ' क्या '
ये हिंदी शब्द हमें हिंदी वाक्य के बीच में मिलता है।
जैसे ; ये क्या है ? ,वो क्या है ?, तुम्हारे पापा जी क्या है?
वो प्रश्न जो सहायक क्रिया से शुरू होता है, हमें उनका
उत्तर 'हाँ ' या 'नहीं' में ही देना होता है, पर वो वाक्य जो
Question Word से शुरू होते है, हमें उनका जवाब
विस्तारपूर्वक देना होता है।
जैसे ;
ये क्या है ? इस वाक्य में हमें 'क्या ' वाक्य के बीच में मिल
रहा है, तो सबसे पहले हम question word 'What' को
अलग करेंगे तो फिर बचेगा 'ये है' , 'ये है' अंग्रेजी में होगा
'this is'अब 'this is' को interrogative में बदलेंगे तो होगा
'is this?' , अब हम 'is this' को question word के बाद
रखेंगे तो बनेगा What is this? - ये क्या है?

will या shall का प्रयोग करते हैं।
अंग्रेजी भाषा में कर्ता I तथा We के साथ Shall ही लगता है,
पर बोलते समय इस बात का ध्यान रखना होता है की यदि
हमें कर्ता I & We मिलता है तो साधारण वाक्यों को बनाते समय
हम Will का प्रयोग कर सकते है जब हमें किसी से कोई वादा
करना होता है या धमकी देनी होती है। परंतु यदि हम प्रश्नवाचक
या प्रश्नवाचक नकारात्मक वाक्यों को बनाते है, तब Shall
का ही प्रयोग करना चाहिए ,और यदि I & We को छोड़कर कोई
अन्य कर्ता मिलता है या मिलते है तब Will का प्रयोग करते है।
