Use of 'Let'
जब हम किसी को कोई कार्य करने की अनुमति
देना या लेने के लिए कहते है तब हम let का
प्रयोग करते है;
Formulae:
Positive : Let + Objective case + V1
+ Object/C.O.S.
Negative : Let + Objective Case + not
+ V1 + Object/C.O.S.
Or
Don't + let + Objective Case
+ V1 + Objective/C.O.S.
जैसे ;
1. मुझे जाने दो।
Let me go.
2. उसे बोलने दो।
Let him speak.
3. उन्हें जाने दो।
Let them go.
4. सीमा को अंदर आने दो।
Let Seema come in.
5. मुझे देखने दो।
Let me see.
6. रवि और राधा को ये करने दो।
Let Ravi and Radha do this.
7. उसे कोशिश करने दो।
Let him try.
8. उसे मरने दो।
Let him die.
9. उसे चाय बनाने दो।
Let her make tea.
10. जाने दो।
Let it be /go.
Negative:-
1. मुझे मत जाने दो।
Let me not go./Don't let me go.
2. उसे मत बोलने दो।
Let him not speak./Don't let him speak.
3. उन्हें मत जाने दो।
Let them not go./ Don't let them go.
4. सीमा को अंदर मत आने दो।
Let Seema not come in./
Don't let Seema come in.
5. मुझे मत देखने दो।
Let me not see./Don't let me see.
6. रवि और राधा को ये मत करने दो।
Let Ravi and Radha not do this./
Don't let Ravi and Radha do this.
7. उसे कोशिश मत करने दो।
Let him not try./Don't let him try.
8. उसे मत मरने दो।
Let him not die./Don't let him die.
9. उसे चाय मत बनाने दो।
Let her not make tea./Don't let her make tea.
10. जाने मत दो।
Let it not be./Don't let it be.

Affirmative :

Negative :
Let's not (Let us not) + V1+ Object

Let's का प्रयोग इस प्रकार के वाक्यों को
बोलने के लिए किया जाता है;
जैसे ;
1. चलो चलें।
Let's go. / Let us go.
2. चलो घर चलें ।
Let's go home. / Let us go home.
3. चलो खाना खायें।
Let's eat food. / Let us eat food.
4. चलो खाना बनायें।
Let's cook food. / Let us cook food.
5. चलो उसे समझाए।
Let's explain to him/her.
Or Let us explain to him/her.
6. चलो उसे परेशान करे।
Let's disturb /bother him/her.

7. चलो टी.वी .देखें।
Let's watch TV. / Let us watch TV.
8. चलो घूमने चले।

9. चलो इस बात को भूल जाए।
